Message: GWMG granted Steenkampskraal regional rare earth prospecting right

Good Morning, redgreen9:

Thank you for your response to my above posting and for your comments about the Company in particular and about the unpredictability of the rare earth market in general.

My query was prompted by genuine curiosity in the subject and by my interest in the affairs of GWMG; it was drafted without any negative intent in mind.

Presently I am not invested in the rare earth market, with exception of GWMG. This company is working on a fully integrated – from the mine to the market – business strategy, and they might just be able to pull it off. Besides, Steenkampskraal may still have some surprises for the future. Being originally a Thorium mine, the question is if besides the vein-type monazite-apatite-chalcopyrite-magnetite deposits perhaps some rich Thorium veins will also be found in commercially viable quantities.

But the real issue here is feasibility. Steenkampskraal’s is a small vein deposit with a high radioactive Thorium count. The IAEA is already recommending that shorter shifts should be used for workers to limit long term expose to Steenkampskraal’s radioactivity. These issues will increase costs of production and reduce efficiency.

I am really looking forward to see the NI43-101 data when it is released.

Other concern is South Africa’s rapidly deteriorating mining industry, unreliable electric power supply, labour relations, union strife, partial confiscation of investors’ capital, upcoming national elections, you name it. (Sorry, perhaps I should't sound too gloomy).

Cheers,
