Added 9 days ago - Colombia has started to build a new biofuel plant in the Mexican state of Chiapas.
The plant will use technology developed by a Colombian agricultural research institute to produce 20,000 litres of biofuel daily from the seeds of Jatropha curcas nuts.
Colombia is investing two million US dollars in the plant which is due to be built by December. Colombia is the leading biofuel producer in Latin America.
