Sorry, this is clutzy. Transfering from a PDF is not simple.

New Future Market Verticals Opened

The most recent performance data opens additional potential markets for EEStor in the super  capacitor space. Expected applications of the polymer-CMBT mix include the grid storage, wind, automotive, aircraft, laptop, camera, power backup, memory, UPS, solid state disc drive and railway wayside market sectors. The demand for smaller, yet higher storage capacity than current capacitors  is expected to drive the super capacitor demand over the next 10 to 15 years. EEStor ‘s polymer – CMBT mix can provide:

Higher energy storage No, they are at less than 1 wh/l. Commercial ceramic are about 5, and Evans electrolytic are about 10. Batteries are pushing 1000.

Smaller footprint No, commercial capacitors are less than half the footprint.

·        Longer life

No life test has ever been run on them. The standard conditions are full rated voltage at maximum temperature. I expect they would be dead within hours, if not minutes

Lower cost

As long has they have copper substrates, their cost will kill them.

EEStor’s technology remains disruptive. (Sure it is, maybe to digestion)

Adds Radiant Technologies as Certified Standard Testing Protocol Since EEStor’s polymer–CMBT mix is a non-linear dielectric it has added Radiant Technologies Inc. as its third independent testing firm. Radiant is an industry leader testing and characterizing the electrical properties of non-linear materials. Radiant testing equipment is an industry standard in the micro- electronics field and EEStor is having a radiant testing unit and testing protocols based on this technology installed at its facility in Cedar Park, Texas.

Ceramic — High Voltage Capacitor Goals

Providing independent testing firms Intertek and MRA Labs  Inc.  with 4,  8 and 16-layered stacks for testing has been achieved with consistent, replicable and stable results. In the webinar, Dr Paul said they were not ready for  multiple layers yet, they had to stabilize the single layer first

This certified data and kits of these layers to be provided to interested potential licensees for the high-voltage capacitor market. Not sure what he is trying to say. I dont think they know if HV or ED is thier target

Begin negotiations with potential licensing partners. As above, why would established companies, with better products already, bother with a company with a poor reputation?

Dennis Zogbi will be actively engaged in this activity.

I doubt DZ will be involved with them, he has a reputation to protect. When last asked, he said he wasn't

Polymer Based Energy Storage Goals

The EEStor team goal, including in-house and outside polymer experts, is to focus on maximizing the performance of its polymer substrates to optimize the energy storage capability of EEStor’s proprietary CMBT powders. Its not a substrate, its a matrix. Countless papers have shown that the dielctric constant can never be higher 3M and Dupont are already making the product, but they are not dreaming of ED. TLC actually has CMBT polymer in production, and have identified failure modes that EEStore has not evaluated. (In general, they seem to ignore competitors, their last couple test results had to have been embarresing when recognized as 20 year old product, that were available at Radio Shack for cents.)

The first goal is to find a highly polar, stable, flexible polymer substrate to achieve energy density greater than 10-15 watt hours/litre, which is the same energy density as a Pb-Acid battery, and to provide base-line data using this polymer. Note that EEStor’s power density would be 1,000x greater than Pb-Acid batteries (Figure 1). The higher power density means the EEStor product could store the same amount of energy as the Pb-Acid battery in a much smaller volume.

The above goal is expected to be achieved in the 2018 timeframe.

Thats not a goal, is delusion, in my opinion. Goal achievement is not guaranteed. (Or else the Panthers would be in the Super Bowl)
