This is a very sad note posted by a long time Poet investor after realizing that the technology didn't work and he finally gave in and sold all his stock.

I won't go into great detail, I've sold my entire holdings for a loss of 82%. 162k 

My relationship with family and friends is totally strained. It's a harsh lesson in the world of venture business.

I was so very silly to think I could score a huge lottery style win in the stock market.  

I'm sure sometime this will get played again, and will increase on some speculation months or years from now, or maybe it goes to zero.

So far from what I've seen no one believes this tech is able to monetized. Management and creators show this by selling entire positions on the open market, by no current management buying shares, by prospective partners who looked at the tech  intimately understands the tech as well as any poet engineer, but decided it wasn't worth investing or partnering.

disapointment? No disappointment is when you were hoping for chocolate ice cream and all they have is vanilla.

This is life changing for me and has set me back 10 years of hard work.
