You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
In the past, when we replied, it attached the incoming message, then when the person replies, ditto etc as a thread, same as emails.....it no longer works that way since the launch....for me anyway.
