are there issues with new user registration being hacked?

we just got spam-bombed with Chinese gibberish about 500 times in the PTK forums.

this isn't the first time.

maybe you could look at adding a captcha or something.

PS: any way to mass-remove the clutter so it doesn't appear anymore (even as deleted, it's still bothersome to have to wade through)
