good topic, in the case of the kry board we have a couple guys who come from yahoo, form a new id, 1star the same folks every time, then post 1 or 2 posts that get them banned..then they come back and repeat the process...

i wonder if a user should'nt have to get to a minimum number of "activity points" before having the ability to rate someone...just a thought

in any case i do like the "weighted average" idea....for instance, the opinion of a 4star rated user with thousands of activity points should carry more weight than that of a new user or established 1.5star rated user...
