My main point for Agora is, their TOS agreement that we accept when joining, allows them access to both public and private areas and that's a must to protect the company, and law enforcement may need PM's for security matters, not to mention the OSC via a court order in both cases...or however that works.
It's the same thing with computer use for an employee of any company. The company supplied computer is their property, and if they suspect or get a report of misuse, such as surfing questionable sites, or email communications between employees re: sexual harassment, HR has the right to "snoop" and people get fired for it.
So, what's private these days?
Home email to another's home email, and it's only as private as the trust between the parties.
