In my not so humble opinion about this particular case, the OSC has generally done such a rotten job in enforcing even their own paper tiger rules on the fat cats and scam artists who actually steal money from small investors like us that they need to smoke screen issues such as this one in order to attempt to garner some modicum of positive press. Hopefully this strategy will backfire big time when the truth comes out and once again we can laugh or cry at the big bad wolf who claims to be watching our backs while in reality protecting their own butts. Good luck to George and the other great managers here at Agoracom. However when the truth is finally know I would not hold my breath for the big apology from the boys and girls at the OSC.
