Wolf, thanks for the comment. It's a fair one. We can't do it for one major reason - A website can't make any kind of a significant retroactive change to its term of service. It would be a major infringement on people's privacy. Imagine if we suddenly came out and said we would retroactively reveal your ratings of other members? Imagine if Facebook decided to retroactively reveal information about you that wasn't publicly available before?
Any significant change to a site's terms of service has to be from that point forward.
