As I understand it SGX choose not to renew their Agoracom subscription... nothing more to it than that. So, like you said why does SGX site not exist in non-paid member form as many other companies do?... No idea. But I do think it is Agoracom who chooses not to host a non-paid SGX hub... Even if they wanted to SGX does not have the power 'demand' Agoracom stop hosting an SGX hub. Agoracom seemed not willing to host a non-paid SGX hub. Agoracom's silence on the matter speaks volumes IMO.
