View Counters

Also on that same note I want to give some context to the reasoninig of viewer counts/stats. If I were to spend the time to do hours of due dilligence and decide to be kind enough to write a synopisis (to benefit other members of the hub), it would be nice to know whether there was only 1 person reading that post or 500.

For example - I know on my main hub (KXL) there are some posters that treat the forum as a place to share excellent information (almost like a blog) and they have followers that read their posts religiously. Not to mention the company management who have confirmed reading the Agoracom posts all the time themselves. Without people directly saying "thank you" or mentioning they liked the posts there is no way of knowing who read it, if anyone.

It realize the view count reasoning may seem as though it's bordering on vein....but it would be nice to know that you are getting the word out and not just typing into cyberspace and wasting your time.

Since Agoracom generates revenue by essentially promoting companies I would think any kind of positive exposure would be in their best interests as well.

I'm sure there are user statistics being done by Agoracom in the background because you know the total number of users etc. But along the same lines of "positive exposure" I believe that the companies being promoted would have a metric to gauge their popularity and indirectly their stock sentiment and success as well.

Those were my thoughts on this anyway, if the counters are not feasbile or realistic I guess there is nothing we can do.

Thanks,
Gamblor.
