if you decide to make violations public to all, you may be giving out information to the wrong people. as a leader of the sso and aru forums, i have had to process many violations. each time i have had to ban an individual, i would write an explanation so that the other hub leaders and agoracom would have a paper trail to follow. but explaining what the troublemakers did wrong is not something that should be publicly available. the last thing i need is to teach bashers how to cover their tracks and make them more difficult to identify.
