Member Inquiries, Feedback and Testimonials
Good Afternoon Rick.
Thank you for your inquiry. We understand your point of view however for the benefit of all community members we take a stringent approach to our six rules of use.
AGORACOM admins are not here to police you or take away your right of free speech and expression. We take a secondary role when dealing with Shareholder Communities. You can think of admins as Assistants as their role is in support of AGORACOM members regardless of rank.
Admins are put in place much like our six rules of use; though their authority is not taken lightly as you may have noticed they are quite open ended indeed. The reason we have left our rules of use as such and not written up a 20 page rules and guidelines booklet is for simplicity. Remember this next time you read a message or string of messages that do not appeal to you.
Please consider that a HUB is a fluid environment of new and old, so there are times when you just have to sit back and watch it flow. In those cases where it appears the information is not of value to anybody, use the violation tool. In others where it appears a member is not of any value to you, use the ignore feature or move on to the next post.
There is a very fine line between fact and fiction; that same fine line is also in place between constructive criticism and bashing. Though we understand the point you are trying to get across and can see the point you are making; for the benefit of all members we were put in a difficult position and had to remove your post pasted below.
Every day there are thousands of page views including new members who come to the ECU Hub in search of valuable company information about the company. The post in question does not flatter the majority of your messages, as well as the overall quality of the ECU main discussion board.
Thank you again for your inquiry and your contributions within the AGORACOM community. We are at your convenience should you require clarification on anything in the future and to provide our assistance and guidance.
Regards,
AGORACOM
