Thank you for your inquiry. Over the past few days we have received similar messages from likeminded AGORACOM members.
We persistently monitor voting behavior on our back end and we are alerted when ones voting activities step out of the ordinary. Please rest assured that your account is safe from malicious doings.
Our Technical team is looking into the possibility of a bug; however having a look at your profile from the back everything appears to be normal.As for the significant drop in points it is not uncommon for AGORACOM members with high ranks to loose or gain more points than others with lower Ranking Points. The reason being the way we calculate your ranking points (7806).
We Multiply your activity points (only you can see them in your profile) with your User Rating (3.7 of our 5 star system). When the rating is offset (for example 2 users give you a 5 in a short period of time) it is also likely your Ranking Points (7806) to see a sharp increase. The same would happen in the opposite scenario (i.e. if 2 users were to give you a 1).
