To answer your questions:

1)  The Management area is not editable at this time but Agoracom is working on it.

2)  There is no auto import function at this time for news and the "Press Releases" function seems to not be working at the moment either.  I would suggest you just put links to the Press Releases in the "Link Library" which you have access to as President.
