In the entire time the paper gold price was taken down, how much physical actually traded hands at that price? It is safe to say no CB gold changed hands and no large contracts were settled. Only cash changed hands on the ABN Amro default.

Some lucky individuals got to add to their coin collection at fire sale prices though. Cheers
