its too early for a merger.....in a way the joint venture gives some temporary protection from an unwanted takeover before the the story of the pls can be fully developed.....any aquireror has to deal with two entities(fis and amw) that could have different views as to what the pls is worth.....as well going to the bag men for additional money for drilling geology etc. is much easier because each company may have different groups supporting them.....and if i need 100 mill... its easier for me to work the street for 50 mill each than the 100 mill.....prior to hathors takeover it seems to me they had done an amalgamation with ????.....within a short period of time therafter the takeout of hathor took place.......soooooo where am i going with this?....the day they announce an amalgamation is the day i divorce the wife and morgage the kids.....because i am going to load up and wait for the buy out.

what may happen is that some of the peripheral players could be joint ventured or taken out by fis and/or amw.......and who knows the ground better than this joint venture.
