From the news release... these are "historical" numbers. Let's hope that they can find some more core with these kinds of numbers:
DDH#3 - 37.8 meters with 6.51 grams/ton gold & 678 grams/ton silver. The gold per ton here is valued at... 6.51 divided by 31 = .21 ounces times todays price of gold at 1360 per ounce is $285/ton of rock... again over 37.8 meters.
Now, the silver values are as follows. 678 grams of silver/ton divided by 31 grams per ounce = 21.87 ounces of silver per ton of rock times todays silver price of $28.40/ounce = $621.13. Combine that total and you get 285 plus 621 = $906/ton of rock... over 37.8 meters again... Now, if this is just a little vein like Noront's 5.8 meters of 1700ish grams of gold per ton that was never found when they APPARENTLY ran the ramp right through it................, then it won't be worth too much. If this is a vein and it goes on for a ways and they can get a drill going through it at comparitive lengths 50 or 100 meters away, then we just might be on to something...
I'm not pumping this up. I don't think that I have to, with the price of silver and gold where it's at today. What I am trying to convey is that there is a TON of potential here... They just have to find some more core lengths with those kinds of numbers in it.....
