Has anyone been following the news out of Pinetree? They used to have a large stake and I wondering if some of the selling is what they have left. I'm starting to see a connection from a past conversation I had with Peter who informed me during the summer that he had a visit from Pinetree. It sounded like they had put some pressure on Peter and the Board to make changes and certain moves. Of course he resisted and anticipated a showdown at the AGM but it never materialized. It seems like it was an an empty threat of some sort, but given Pinetree's fate now...I wonder if they still had a number of shares left to unload.

My other theory which is more of my own attempt to think outside the box is to wonder if Sheridan uses FNC as a vehicle for tax selling (to offset gains from his royalty). I was told many years ago (about 2-3) that he had many accounts with holdings of FNC (unconfirmed). Total speculation on my part but there's no doubt Peter has a certain bravado and confidence that he and his company are safe because of a very key player who backs him. I still think that's Sheridan.

Made good money with Probe but I will never invest another dollar in FNC or Peter. And for people who think good news is to come from China, I'm not holidng my breath. Of course, I hope for a miracle but there's no way I see Peter pulling off a deal, I'll be floored if anything actually comes from it that impacts the share price in a positive manner for shareholders. Hope he proves me wrong..
