I would be interested in knowing how many shares
Marquest still holds .
In their
Explorer Series Fund they had ~4.7 million as
of March 31st, 2014 To calculate that figure I used the value of the fund on that date ($18.3 million) x 2.55% and divided that by the value of FNC at closing on 3/31/2014 ($0.10) .
I can also tell you that
Marquest Asset Management Inc held ~10.8 million shares as of 11/20/2013. (
http://quote.morningstar.ca/Quicktakes/owners/MajorShareholders.aspx?t=FNC®ion=CAN&culture=en-CA ) I cannot tell you whether FNC was held by
Marquest over several different funds or merely in the
one fund.
Additionally, FNC was dropped off the Top 10 Holdings list for
that fund as of 5/23/2014. One cannot ascertain whether this reflects the fact that they sold FNC shares, or is due to the fact that FNC had dropped to $0.06 , or due to a combination of the two.
