...yes thanks for posting the Jay Taylor link. Great additional coverage of FNC! I am not familiar with his newsletter but he is always one of the higher caliber junior resource commentators, with a keen insight into macroeconomics and geopolitics. I listened to him speak at the PDAC presentations today (as well as eight other of ~20 speakers including Lawrence Roulston, Bob Moriarty, John Kaiser, Grant Williams, Brent Cook and Rick Rule) . He didn't give any favourite stock picks though.

Brent Cook gave a few...great economic geologist but either lacking in geopolitical knowledge or "selling his own book" in my opinion, as the companies which he recommended have flagship properties in Serbia and Burkina Faso-countries which have at least moderate political risk ....I mean, what junior resource investor (after seeing their portfolio hammered over the last two years) would even consider jurisdictions like those during these uncertain times...thanks but no thanks...I'll stick with the America's for the most part..First Nations and Environmental Issues/Activism aside, I think that the Ontario and Quebec/Labrador mining jurisdictions should still command share price premiums for their lower geopolitical risk.

Rick Rule always draws a good crowd ,and he did today, but he was at a more opportune time of the day to present. For the most part though, I'd say that the presentation hall was at only ~30% capacity. The exhibit floor was not very busy either-will be interesting to see the final attendance stats. Certainly the weather is not helping the situation.

By the way, FNC was not exhibiting today. The program indicates that they will be at booth 217 on tuesday and wednesday.

Cheers, Luker
