“Champion announced a “take-over” (almost a reverse take-over really) by ASX listed Mamba Minerals Ltd… the resulting company would be renamed “Champion Iron Ore Ltd” and would be listed on both the ASX and Toronto exchanges…At the most basic level, Champion is agreeing to the merger because they view it as buying management and financing ability. Mamba needs to raise a minimum of $A10 million at a minimum price of $0.50 in order to close the deal. If it can accomplish that I think it shows it’s the right group for the job and the merged company would have $25 million to work with.
