Roy Bonnell said at the annual meeting yesterday when asked about a deal with PPG : "We will be providing information about that soon"... and the assembly start laughing. We knew that "soon" for an administrator might mean several weeks...

But when I came back home from Montreal and saw that the stock was halted + the news about the agreement with PPG, well let be honest I did not expect to have news so soon!

Yesterday, M. Bonnell put emphasis on the credibility aspect of a possible deal with PPG rather than the economical aspect of it. They wanted to have PPG onboard so they can prove to the rest of the market that the project is solid and serious. I agree with them: now Argex is developing toward a great future... and another step in derisking the project! Congrats to the management team!

We can only hope that one Peter Smith took some notes during his three and one half year directorship of Argex, or at least that some of that company's business acumen seeped through by osmosis!
