It is a sad situation; still, how about having someone at each school armed (eg a vice principal or gym teacher) and approach these tragic situations from that sort of view? I too think gun control is not the the answer & only controls the law abiding. Then there is all the virtual gratuitous violence etc., being modeled on daily tv ... as if that doesn't influence everyone ... just some random thoughts of mine as I too share in the sadness of these tragedies ...
