I, too, would like to thank you for your efforts and the excellent tone of your posts. We certainly made a change; whether or not we won will be reflected in the SP in coming months(proof of the pudding is in the eating, and all that)
I asked a friend how it went when he stepped down from President/CEO to Chairman a few years ago, and he said that the new CEO ran the day-to-day operations independent of his input, but all major decisions were very much in his (my friend's) control. His company was many times larger than FNC, thus I don't have any illusions about Peter Smith's influence on this small enterprise.
I'm an optimist by nature and therefore am more than willing to give LaFleur a chance to take this company where it should have already been, but I do have reservations. Not selling.
