Hello Lar (“hoov”),
Agoracom Message Hubs, as I understand it, are set up for conversation by any or all. As such, I welcome you to the discussions and arguments we’re having here. I’ll go further: I’m sure you mean well and have excellent opinions to advance.
However, because of the openness of this Message Hub to the general public, I believe most (if not all) people expressing their views here are not metallurgists nor have the technical expertise to go into the technical argument you’re advancing. Moreover (well meaning though you may be), it is absolutely inappropriate for you to introduce a technical controversy here without having first talked to any of our Board Members who have technical degrees; or without hashing this out with any of our geologists on staff or with any of our outsourced field engineers.
It is unrealistic for you to attempt to introduce visitors to this Message Hub to the niceties of the technical problems you have in your own mind, which may or may not exist (even by your own admission). So, ask yourself, “What am I achieving by doing this?” Certainly, you don’t expect geniuses to pop up from nowhere who will answer everything you’re wondering about and who will put your mind to rest.
The answers you seek and the technical questions that trouble you should be addressed to the people who have the means to answer you. Absolutely, I commend you for being interested enough to be concerned. Absolutely, I look forward to hearing more from you on the subjects you’ve brought up. But, please, first do your best to get responses from people in the know at the company.
Last week, on this Message Hub, I talked about the company’s failure to converse and correspond nearly enough with the investment advisory community. As I said before, we should even go so far as to make doing this a formalized regular practice within a separate division of the company, co-equal with exploration and other business initiatives.
I also mentioned my own resolution to take this subject up with every single Fancamp and Champion Board of Directors’ Member. I will now state further, it is my intension to open a continuing dialog, individually, with those same Board Members and, additionally, with every single Fancamp Advisory Board Member.
You’ve stated: “To Teleprobe and others who want to start beating the drums and speaking out, I think it’s premature to do so.” You’ve got to be kidding! Or, you’ve misunderstood me. It’s “premature” to start “beating the drums and speaking out”? It’s the opposite of “premature.” It’s way past due.
I’m in favor of having free and informative discussions and having free and informative give-and-take between investors, the company executives, and the investment advisory community. All three groups will benefit. Had we set up such a communicative structure already, your technical questions would have been answered expeditiously long ago. Moreover, as things stand now, for every conscientious person, such as yourself, who bothers to ask questions: There are ten times plus numbers of people who don’t ask but, instead, look into other companies where the answers to their questions are more accessible.
