I don't know if I've ever invested in a Venture stock where I didn't see this happen at one time or another. It goes both ways, though. There have been many days when TD would make a 500 or 1000 share trade at 3:59 to close us up a penny and I never heard anyone complain about that.

Besides, I'd be way more interested in seeing the regulators look into the cause of stocks going way up or way down before significant news releases. Happens almost everyday and they don't do a thing about it...
