Resource projects cover more than 1,713 km2 in three provinces at various stages, including the following: hematite magnetite iron formations, titaniferous magnetite & hematite, nickel/copper/PGM, chromite, Volcanogenic Massive and gold.
Stock,
Excellent info. Keep it up! We would be interested to see your notes (converstaion with Dr. Smith) in print. I have a few comments, but not in any particular order.
1. In the IAS interview "FNC: Well, the McFauld’s Lake property is immediately adjacent to Noront and about 400m ESE of their high grade Ni, Cu, PGM, Eagle’s Nest Deposit. The McFauld’s property covers similar geology and there is strong evidence that the Eagle’s Nest is a fault offset from the Fancamp’s C-1 target. In addition recent Fancamp drilling has indicated large masses of high grade chromite at depth."
This is a typical explanation from Dr. Smith. He's a very knowledgeable geo, but when it come to promotion he would stay on the very conservative side (no promoter he is). For the above, a promoter would "capitalize" the NOT Eagle's Nest offset to the potential of NICKEL underneath the C-1 target. FNC found chromite at depth, but as I recall, there was also indication of Ni, at least the same geology stuff as for Eagle (the offset due to the fault). There is no need to go too far in the promotion, but there is no harm following through with the argument about that "offset".
2. On the same topic of promotion. It would be good to paint an overall picture during an interview. Dr. Smith should gave a preample which lists all the properties under FNC wings (2 wings at least).
- 17.% CHM: Current value approx $30M. At least, FNC started to issue own NR whenever CHM issued an IR on the joint property. This is an improvement.
- RoF property: At least some $100++M (for FNC deposits, plus premium from NOT proximity, and transporation corridor access for CLF)
- Magpie: Almost 50% of this soon-to-be IPO property. Value should be substantial given the grade, size of the deposit and it's sitting on the hill top (no need to dig too deep). Perhaps someone can throw in some estimate here.
- Lamelee: Significant deposit worth at least some $100 M
- Beauce:?
- Desolation:?
- Etc.
Dr. Smith does not have to be wordy, he could say all this within a 30 second sound bite. Now, that would set the scene...and something similar should be said at the conclusion of the interview to make sure that the listeners can walk away with an overall picture. Refer people to the website, some good info is shown there.
So, why is our Market Cap is still at $25M which is below the worth of our 17.5% of CHM? This is mind boggling.
As I said before if I won that $50M jackpot I would just buy the whole FNC myself. Or should I sweet talk some offshore people with deep pocket and earn some easy commission of some $M (in yuan would be fine)?
