1. Car analogy: So true, especially chopping up expensive (well-cared for, but just got stolen) cars for parts which could fetch a lot more than the whole car. Depending in state of the part:
- a Miata hood would fetch about 1000$ ($2000 dealer's price);
- a catalytic converter would fetch another $1000 ($2000 dealer's price);
- a door here, a set of tires within fancy aluminium wheels there, expensive sound sytem, leather seats, removable hardtop, etc.
BTW, catalytic coverters used precious stuff like Platinum, Paladium, Rodium... and the auto industry consume some $2B worth of the PM stuff a year, and their prices are going up due to tight supply. It interesting to note that some thieves would rip off the converters just for the value of the scrap Platinum.
So, it would be good for FNC to have some of those PM stuff on their properties to contribute to the sum. Advertise this as wel,l if we have some. Our next door neighbour NOT has some.
2. FNC flying under or over the radar: For the big guys, they know exactly what FNC has regardless of the hi or lo flying, and they would have no shame stealing FNC at a dirt cheap price. However, flying over the radar to flaunt itself would generate excitement and awareness from retail investors...resulting in a hi SPSP. This would be a good defence for a hostile TO, which may be unavoidable. But, a 5-10 bagger with FNC would guarantee a good (and shameless) cry all the way to the bank.
