The Company has had the Beauce gold property for many years during which prospecting and airborne geophysical surveys were carried out. In the Fall of 2009 The Company began a reconnaissance drill programme, the results of which have been recently reported. This work revealed very interesting geology and the recognition that in many cases we are dealing with databases (maps, geological reports, etc) that go back fifty years or more. That is not to say that recent serious exploration has not been carried out in this entire Appalachian district, it certainly has. What it does say, however, is that large areas are virtually untouched by modern exploration methods and warrant reexamination. As though to reinforce this Company view, serious map staking, beginning in October/ November 2009 in all probability by the Bowmore/Osisko interests , began to appear. As for Fancamp itself the opportunity to option the important Stoke Mountains and Clinton districts, presented in December 2009, and in the meantime significant regional map staking by other parties continued, with Fancamp itself building up its land position in this underexplored and prospective region. All of the Fancamp properties are located within the so called Dunnage Zone of the northern Appalachians, which extends from Northern New Hampshire into Newfoundland and holds within it the large Bald Mountain copper zinc deposit in Maine, the great Noranda porphry copper deposit at Murdochville in Quebec's Gaspe penninsula and the Buchans zinc, lead, copper deposits of Newfoundland.
