IMPATIENCE & ANXIETY

I've dissipated my own impatience by reading the FNC timeline -which need no update yet.

http://agoracom.com/ir/Fancamp/forums/discussion/topics/485115-fancamp-road-to-multiples-timeline/messages/1556135#message

It takes all the worry of multiples out of "if" and into "when". This is significant for me as my uncertainty is replaced by pressure of how to get more. Therefore, the anxiety lies in what money can I afford to risk not being in FNC to go for gains on the side so I can throw that back into FNC to increase shares. Inherent in all this is that real life isn't dependent on FNC gains prior to the timeline spike points.

I was talking to a young friend who inherited several cars adding up to 25 thousand dollars. He sold them with the intent to pay cash for a nice new Toyota. After an unsuccessful attempt to convince him to use the cash for a down-payment on a house, I managed to reach him this way. For the same money, would you rather buy a Toyota now or a Jaguar in December. This is why:

FUN WITH SPIKE POINTS

If one were to set aside the “mergers and acquisitions” and the “grassroots bonus” columns, and stuck tothe “established paycheck” column, it becomes a matter of estimated calculation for profit. –which I find is an excellent distraction for the “now, now” feelings.

I feel I’m typing to the choir here as we all know what we are invested in. Therefore, I feel I can afford to indulge in some fun shower calculations and you’ll spare slamming me.Here is an estimate calculation that assumes Smith and Granger don’t know how to maximize momentum, or anonymous undersells after acquiring again, so I’m underestimating.

Throw $10,000 into FNC at .41ctoday.Mid-June we drill Magpie and Lac Lamalee. SP increase to .60c in hopes. ($14,634).Mid June Champion increases tonnage to 2.2 billion tons or releases 43-101 at 2.7 billion tons combined with FNC drilling and our SP hits .75c ($18,292). Magpie or Lac Lamalee visuals in Aug/Sept gives FNC for the third time in its history real possession of ore.FNC SP spikes to $1.25 ($30,487). This is before the good stuff. This is where things really begin. Sept/Oct Magpie metallurgical, evaluation, 43-101, &deadline finally in a few news releases and FNC spikes to $2.25 ($54,877) –probably much more but I’m underestimating here. Lac Lamalee intent to IPO. Does SP spike another .25 taking us to $2.50 ($60,975)? Finally in Nov/Dec Magpie get’s the IPO with numbers of FNC and Magpie and there is a race to be part of it taking SP up to $3.00 ($73,170).Result $10,000 = $73,170

ROSY OR BLEAK

Now is this rosy or bleak? Some say I’m very much underestimating what will occur. But this is all without offers for CHM 17.5%, this is without grassroot properties getting hot like sneaking jalapenos in a PB&J sandwich.Supposing it is Rosy, then cut estimate in half. Your $10,000 takes you to $36,585. That’s not a bad multiple in any respects. If you play extreme caution, and carry an umbrella even on the sunniest of days, then then cut that gain to a quarter and you arrive at $18,292 which isn’t a multiple, but it’s a solid profit. But I believe, not hope, this is too bleak an estimate and the SP will spike much higher than I’ve estimated.

PERSPECTIVE

But, I believe many of these numbers will not come to fruition. The numbers will be much higher, because Champion will make an offer for our Fermont interest. All the same, until that happens, it is hard to feel impatient when a handy timeline helps your calculations.

My young friend’s response was that Jaguars won’t have hybrids until 2013. My comeback was “For one hundred fifty seven thousand nine hundred twenty six dollars and eighty two cents profit you can drive your Civic until December and use an umbrella inside when it rains.”
