Plus we've got CHM increasing their drills. A buyout is ever-threatening for both CHM and FNC. It raises a couple questions,1) at what point does a major decide enough economical ore is found to make a deal? 2) once CHM reaches 3 billion, and we have discovered a solid 300 to 500 mil tons at lamalee, what deal scenarios would not involve an out right bid for the entire FNC company. One solution is to IPO Lamalee. However, once it is split off, could one assume the incentive to invest in FNC and not directly into Magpie is split off as well. One can sense the delicacy of timing. CHM increasing their tonnage by doubling drill number only makes LacLamalee more attractive for a major to deal concurrently for CHM as a while, instead of for individual properties as Larsen and Smith would prefer. - - - I'm certain Granger and Smith are aware of this crucial timing: split Magpie for current 43-101 estimations or split it after increased estiates with higher veal, but risk losing incentive to invest in Magpie via FNC. It's a delicate situation and one which we would not be in if Magpie were acted upon with today's energy two years ago.
