This type of offering is so very common, I wonder why everyone always gets so annoyed (long ago, I used to, but finally figured out that's it's like butting your head against a stone wall). It's an integral part of investing in junior resource companies - expect PP's and expect plenty of them. And most should know better than to rely on rumors about what this officer or that officer said or didn't say. I think most of us have seen situations where the company says they have sufficient funds to last, say, 24 months, with no current need to fill the treasury and a PP gets announced within a month!!

Absolutely par for the course, IMO.
