Rago,
I really like your confidence in McFaulds. I was generally disappointed when Peter said he would drill C-2 first as I had limited expectations for a substantial VMS deposit. This mainly due to a miss read of the news on C-2. First the geophysical anomaly is between 2 drill holes that were 100 m apart, hence a rather small feature. On looking at the data again it is obvious the 2 drill hole are angled to the southeast while the anomaly appears to dip to the northwest. Little wonder they didn't hit. I fully expect that the new hole will be sited further to the NW and drilled to the SE. We will see.
On the other hand I am hopeful that FNC has a worthy deep target at C-1. Although no detailed info was given to describe the increasing conductance with depth in hole 10-19 as it got close to the contact between the ultramafics and granodiorite there seems to be some enthusiasm with the potential. His idea that Eagle 1 was part of the main mineralized body and was displaced to the NW on a NW trending strike slip fault has some merit. Why else is there Eagle 1 type mineralization in 2 shallow hole drilled earlier on the FNC claims. Again we shall see.
Just my thoughts on a wet afternoon. Will the clouds part soon to reveal some blue sky? Some time soon I too hope all holder of FNC will see some blue sky.
MH
PS Does anyone have any idea on why we have had no info on the drill program completed at Stoke Mtn and possibly other locations nearby?
