if fnc shares or Pat's share of properties are sold to and FNC unfriendly, certainly the unfriendlies may be favorable to shareholders. Here is why, and please debate this thought process, 1) smith will be motivated to actual do something for shareholders to avoid hostile takeover, 2) any interested parties are in it for profit which may hurt smith but bring some profit to us though perhaps not max profit, 3) interested parties buyinto properties like magpie to sell or buy us out. so we speed up action, though again not max profit, 4) if champion bought out Pat they'll be motivated to share swap for the rest of FNC or make an offer and own a majority vote -actually that would not be good. I implor Peter to read this and unify us now should this be the scanario.
