Who else benefits from Australan Mining Tax inrease?

I know this is extreme conspiratal thinking, but I'd look into who of those that support the tax increase also hold investments in Africa and Indonesia. Perhaps Premier Colin Barnett? We'd love the Multinationals to focus on Canada, and they may divert more cash emphasis this way, however articles suggest attention to Africa and Indonesia.

What will Cliffs be doing? I hope their paper pushers are crunching the numbers dilligently and arriving at figures that favor Canadian Investments over the Aussie Tax Increase. I hope making an offer we can't resist for UC, FNC, PRB, NOT. Fancamp alone has chromite and Iron, that could satisfy. It certainly should free up cash to match SPQ and KWG resistence. UC's massive land holdings should look tempting as well.
