Champion Minerals Raises $1,600,000 Through the Exercise of Warrants

Champion Minerals Inc. ("Champion" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CHM)(FRANKFURT:P02) is pleased to announce that 3,200,000 Common Shares were issued by the Company pursuant to the exercise of warrants. The Company received proceeds of $1,600,000 in connection with the warrant exercise pursuant to the terms detailed in the Company's press release dated February 19, 2010. The proceeds to Champion from the exercise of the warrants will be used for working capital and to finance continued exploration programs on the Company's properties.
