I agree for the most part, in terms of Peter building shareholder value because he has not done that at all. In fact he has made us worse off by not doing financings when we were consistently trading over 2 bucks after Not's discovery. Now we're diluting our capital structure at these prices.
I also don't believe for 1 second that we're offered 1.50/share for Magpie Mines. If that's the case then what are we holding out for??? Properties are never sold for what they are truly valued at and I don't trust his business acumen to make a deal. Maybe if we had done something like that, then we could have retained our 50% interest in the Fermont Property and developed it ourselves instead divesting a world class deposit!
With a Magpie sale, then i'd be a little more forgiving about doing a recon program at Beauce when we should be focused on C1.
And what would have happened if Peter ever decided to drill the Chromite targets we have on our claims... could that have not made us more attractive for Cliffs to come after. Peter once told me NOT was wasting their time drilling their chromite and they should have been focused on Nickel. Looks like Cliffs didn't agree with his assessment of the situation and saw a lot more value then he did. Who know's how much quanity and quality of chromite we have that could have attracted CLiffs.
I once was a fan of Peter and defended him intially, but i think Justaboutfedup has a point about building shareholder value.... for some reason Peter does not know how to do this or his unwilling for whatever reason.
Having said that, i'll probably be buying more shares tomorrow!
Good luck everyone
