DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Ti-Pure(R) Titanium Dioxide Products in North America

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Titanium Technologies (DTT) announced a price increase for all DuPont(TM) Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in North America.

Effective Oct. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in North America (United States and Canada) will increase by 5 cents per pound (USD). This increase is in addition to the price increases announced on May 15, 2009 and July 22, 2009.

DuPont Titanium Technologies is the world's largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide, serving customers globally in the coatings, paper and plastics industries. The company operates plants at DeLisle, Miss.; New Johnsonville, Tenn.; Edge Moor, Del.; Altamira, Mexico; and Kuan Yin, Taiwan; all of which use the chloride manufacturing process. WILMINGTON, DE, June 3, 2009 (PRNewswire) - DuPont Titanium Technologies (DTT) today announced a price increase for all DuPont(TM) Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in Asia and Latin America.

Effective July 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in Asia Pacific will increase by $50 per tonne (USD).

Effective July 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in Latin America will increase by $100 per tonne (USD).

Does anyone know where one could obtain information regarding the Tio2 grades of the Starke FLA mine (one of 2 U.S. Ti02 mines), and other world titanium mines in production, for comparism?
