An opinion on insider trading that hopefully puts the topic to rest.

Peter Smith is in line for perhaps 3 million shares and has sold perhaps .5 of 1% of those. This seems to point to his being confident but not 100% certain that FNC has the motherload. Suspect that the tiny bit of doubt (which any sensible individual that is put in his position would be expected to have) has led him to offload under $200k as security in the event that they come up dry, but the amount that he has drawn out is but a small fraction of his gross holdings of FNC paper. We should all recognized that if Peter wanted to cut and run, he could have joint ventured this property at any time over the past 9 months with those that were lining up to get in and he would have benefited to the tune of millions of dollars and he has elected to play this thing through.

Peter will soon know if he has made the right choice, and win or lose will be left holding onto his existing shares since regulators would be keeping a watchfull eye out for anything that would be considered inappropriate at this stage in their exploration program.

Unlike Peter who is now in a position where his only choice is to retain his current shares, most of us here can choose to hold or dump at any time. Would expect that Smith has always been in a better position than everyone here in having access to the up to date raw technical data associated with what is underground within these claims and his actions as it pertains to trading have demonstrated a consistent view that there is absolutely nothing which would reflect poorly on the huge potential of the property. People can and should do their due diligence, as Smith surely would have in playing out his journey forward with this play.
