I think by the tone of your reply you thought I was chastising you for your questions. My post wasn't meant in that way. I was just posting to give everyone on here an idea of what actually goes on up there.
As for the guy going fishing, that was just an example of something simple that could affect how fast things move. It hasn't happened. Although, there is only one forklift in Webequie I believe and it belongs to the operator. And for the record, many times we haven't been able to deliver freight to the reserves because the equipment operator is out fishing or hunting or has flown to Thunder Bay for a doctors appointment or some such thing. Anyway, FNC has nothing to do with the unloading of the airplane. So if, say, the forklift breaks down, we would be in a pickle for a bit. Its just one of the things beyond their control. It was just an explaination for those that may not live in the north or even in Canada how these things work.
You say you work in production, but I venture to guess that you may not have a firm grasp on what exactly is happening in Webequie.
Like I said, I don't own any FNC so I'm not up on all of the other ascpects of the company and can't comment on them. I have, however been to Webequie at least a dozen times in the past month and can only pass on what I see.
Good Luck.
