Patience is very necessary for succesful investing... Btw, Al and I can have these dialogues without resorting to personal attacks, and remain on friendly terms...

Hey Al...

Quit the drama regarding FNC will ya... Its wearing a little thin. If you read any of my posts, details were provided about the status of FNC's operations and legitimate reasons for the delays. I do speak with Peter Smith regularly, and last time I spoke with Smith, geophysics were ongoing, in conjunction with NOT, and that he sinceerly hoped to be drilling before the break-up. All this without him talking any circles... Or do just like complaining?

You do not just drill anywhere, and FNC needs to make damn sure they get it right on the first pass, or else we will been in serious trouble. If they miss and burn out their cash, they will be forced to raise money for more drlling in a very unfavourable environment. I'd rather that they take the the time to do as much prep work as they need to generate the best drill targets, than 'wing it' and miss.

Its not easy as you think to drill and hit... NOT was very lucky on teh first pass, and most people recognize this. It was also not their primary project at the time, and they had lots of cash even way back in August, so they had basically nothing to lose by drilling (and discovering)Mc Fauld's Eagle 1... FNC is in a very different situation.

Finally, where is the record of all these 'deadlines' you keep mentioning? When has FNC ever officially said that would be definitely drilling by a certain date, or that it would be announcing this on a certain date, and this so-called dealine has slipped by with no news for the company?

Seriously, its obvious you have never been involved in mineral exploration, or else you would realize that pretty much nothing ever goes according to schedule and plan - delays are just part of normal operations, particularly for junior companies.

Al,

I've seen those NRs as well, but I would hardly call those deadlines when the mention things like "hopes" or "plans" to be drilling by or within a certain timeframe window.

I am just as frustrated as you are, but I think this is more just optimistic thinking, than any deadline or definitive drill date.

You've gone from loving to hating Peter Smith :-)

Anyway, we agree that we want the drill bit to start spinning on FNC ground ASAP.

Have a good one...

B.

Al,

You also have to consider that the 4 holes NOT drilled on AT1 (right beside FNC) and missed, may have caused them to revaluate what they think is going on structurally in this area. Its was probably a surprise to both parties that NOT drilled to a vertical depth of 150m and could not explain the source of the EM anomaly. I know Smith mentioned that he hoped NOT were going to down-hole survey from those holes and that probably decided on further suface geophysics based on the results of thosee holes... In fact, this is what I gathered as much from Smith when we last spoke.

B.

Great to see some debate on FNC. Getting people talking about the various stocks in McFaulds Lake is what the morning thought posts are all about.

No one wants to see FNC do better than me. I know numerous investors who still hold large positions in this company in anticipation of the day Peter Smith actually drills this property. One thing is for sure, if Smith ever does drill this property and misses, the stock would be worth very little. The frustrating part with FNC is the lack of investor updates from Peter Smith. Everything is an apparent big secret which is very annoying to say the least.

Honestly I still think FNC has the best speculative property in McFaulds Lake. In fact looking at the maps with EM's and anomoly placements it looks like a can't miss stock. It would be a cruel twist of fate to think there is mineralization on NOT's side of the Double Eagle anomoly and none on Fancamp's side.

It still mystifies me why NOT didn't drill deeper near the border of FNC when they were there. Perhaps to force Smiths hand to drill? Whatever the reason, it sure gave FNC's share price a drubbing. Buying opportunity for the faithful perhaps.

I want to be an investor in FNC again. However, I have decided to take the high road and wait to an actual date for drilling has been announced.
