Great Post > Too bad more Canadians ,especially Ontarians, do not wake up to the fact we pay dramatically higher taxes on gains made on our own Canadian investments than do Americans on those same stocks. We do not even have a level playing field when buying Canadian equities. As well, an Ontarian pays up to 8% more on his taxable gains on Ontario located enterprises thn an Albertan would on those same investments. While we all understand income tax, the fervor to chase large capital away is somewhat astounding.
