The market evidently thinks FNC will not have much going for it in the next few weeks and buyers are staying away. Noront is where the money is going in the hopes of a major player buying in.
Hard to say the market is wrong and even at todays price it looks like a buy as there is room for excitement to take it higher quickly. Day traders will love NOT this week.
My opinion is still that over a month or two FNC has the potential to give even higher payback to patient investors. Yeah I've ridden it down being too reluctant to sell. The market cap just doesn't to me come even close to the potential value in their ground. If a big investor buys into Noront at this stage they are going to pay a big time premium just because of current market valuation of Noront. For some relatively small investment they could in addition buy a good chunk of FNC and cover their ass in case that mineralization is indeed across the staked property liine.
Maybe it's dreaming at this early stage before any holes are poked in FNC's property but I can't see any big player leaving FNC on the table if they pick up Noront. If FNC does drill similar mineralization share prices will go up far higher than Noront's just because of the smaller float of shares outstanding.
