The TSE has become the TSX under a revised brand launched by the Toronto Stock Exchange yesterday. The parent organization is now known as the TSX group of companies. That group includes the senior exchange, the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX) which is now called the TSX Venture Exchange, and the subsidiary that sells data and trading services, now known as TSX Markets. One key reason for the name change: to eliminate confusion with the other TSE, the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
