Stock price jump back in 2006??

Can anyone educate me on why the price jumped to 6$ from .50 in a few short months back in 2006? I am a fairly new investor in Falcon and was looking through an old chart and was curious what causes the rise and then the quick drop back down?? Any hope we can get a similar jump in SP is successful results from phase 1 of drilling program? Thanks
