“Falcon's Beetaloo leasehold lies 600km south-east of Darwin, deep in the Australian outback. Nonetheless, a pipeline runs through it. In fact, two gas pipelines cross the acreage. Those pipelines terminate in Darwin, where there is an existing LNG hub. There is also readily available transport for any future oil production, as the Falcon leases also happen to lie in the path of both the highway and the railroad that connect Adelaide and Darwin.”
It is certainly a big plus for Falcon to have a pipeline running less than 10 miles from the Shenandoah 1 well. You can appreciate this fact even more after watching these videos about laying a pipeline for Statoil on the bottom of the North Sea. The video consist of 6 segments interrupted with very short commercials. Enjoy.
