This from a recent Statoil presentation in the US that No Hot Air unearthed, needs very good eyes to see what it's saying. Underneath this somewhere is the map of Europe. But to those who aren't blind, this is pretty amazing stuff:
- This is not only for shale, but also for Coal Bed Methane
- This isn't coming from a small energy wildcatter that no one has ever heard of. This comes from the number one import source of UK gas and the European company that was almost two years ahead of not only the European competition but many US majors as well.
- It shows one particular area, the green SW England and Paris Basin extending over all of England, parts of Ireland etc etc. What was that again about When you look at the UK, we are different from the US. We are running out of gas
