There may be a fair bit of credibility to the above statement when you consider all the other wells, like the Mako 4, that could be completed without spending nearly as much as Exxon spent on the Foldeak. A new JV partner may be able to prove up some flows, but the question will remain whether it can all be put in place before Falcon runs out of money or the right to exploit the resource expires. With the stock trading around 15 cents there is no question that this is as much a gamble as it is an investment, but with the share price down 85% from my purchase price the downside seems to be small compared to the potential upside if we get a few good breaks in the next 6 to 8 months.
